In 1983 brothers, Mark and Ronnie Gair acquired new premises to meet the growing demand for car repairs and the company moved to the Blackhill Industrial Estate, on the outskirts of Lerwick. In 1985 vehicle sales were added to vehicle repairs. In the same year M & R Gair took on the Subaru franchise. Over the years as the business has further expanded, so the Blackhill premises have been extended to accommodate it. We have also recently improved our vehicle recovery service. The business now employs 12 staff with Mark and Ronnie still working alongside their staff in the body shop. It is this emphasis on high standards and attention to detail that has earned the M & R Gair Bodyshop a reputation for quality workmanship and customer care. |
